Although I’ve always been athletic and played sports, for the last ten years, I have considered myself a runner. From cross country and track in school to training for marathons, cardio has been the center of my exercise routine. Coaches encouraged weightlifting to strengthen my legs and increase reaction time, but like too many women, I refused because I didn’t want to get “bulky”.

However, after years of cardio, I finally picked up some weights and changed my entire outlook on fitness. I am tightening up my “soft spots” which wouldn’t go away no matter how much I ran, and I can feel myself growing stronger and more energetic.

When I started seeing Dennis, I had already made noticeable improvements. I could have been satisfied and stopped there, but in our first meeting, Dennis gave me one hell of a pep talk and encouraged me to demolish my comfort zone and strive to be the badass he knew I was. Dennis offers a very dynamic system, constantly challenging and ambitious. We combine weights with my proclivity toward cardio for a workout unique to my personal goals. After four months with Dennis, I am stronger physically and mentally and continue to see changes with every session. I have come a long way, but I have no plans of stopping anytime soon.
